Trading positions must be closed or assets moved from Margin Accounts to Spot Accounts before the Margin trading shutdown to prevent potential losses, as users will be unable to adjust their holdings during the removal process, which is anticipated to last around three hours.

Major cryptocurrency exchange Binance has issued a notification regarding the removal of ten margin trading pairs, scheduled to occur on October 30, 2026. This significant shakeup impacts Bitcoin and Ethereum margin trading pairs among others. Specifically, the following ten cross-margin pairs—RE/USD1, 币安人生/U, KAT/U, BTC/USDS, ETH/USDS, AVNT/U, FET/U, TRUMP/U, APT/U, and WLFI/U—will be taken off Binance Margin at 06:00 (UTC) on that date. At the designated time, Binance Margin will execute an automatic settlement, close out user positions, and void every outstanding order associated with these specific cross-margin pairs before their removal. Despite this, traders retain the ability to trade these assets using other pairs still available on Binance Margin.

Furthermore, Binance plans to delist certain spot trading pairs on October 30, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC). Following recent evaluations, the exchange stated it will cease trading and remove twelve spot trading pairs: AAVE/BTC, ATOM/BTC, CAKE/BTC, DASH/BTC, ETC/BTC, ICP/BTC, PENDLE/BTC, RENDER/BTC, TAO/BTC, THETA/BTC, XAUT/BTC, and XTZ/BTC. The platform conducts regular assessments of all listed spot trading pairs to uphold a high-quality marketplace and protect its users, sometimes removing pairs due to factors like diminished trading volume or liquidity.

Separately, Binance will be undertaking maintenance on the Ethereum Network (ETH) today, October 28, 2026, starting at 06:00 (UTC). To facilitate this upkeep, the ability to withdraw or deposit assets on the Ethereum Network (ETH) will be suspended beginning October 28, 2026, at 05:55 (UTC), with service resuming once the maintenance, expected to take roughly one hour, is complete.

In recent developments concerning listings, Binance Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin, and Portfolio Margin Pro added five bStocks tokens—BSPB (Bending Spoons), SKDDB (GraniteShares 2x Short SK Hynix ETF), SKUUB (GraniteShares 2x Long SK Hynix ETF), GEVB (GE Vernova), and APPB (AppLovin)—to the list of eligible collateral assets on October 28, 2026.
