Developer Proposes Bitcoin 'Landmines' To Trap Quantum Thieves

A novel proposal suggests a mechanism to thwart quantum thieves attempting to steal Bitcoin.

CoinDesk

Developers are suggesting the implementation of "landmines" designed to neutralize such threats.

Under this concept, any attempt to move vulnerable bitcoin would necessitate the depositor putting up matching collateral.

This collateral requirement would effectively afford pre-positioned owners an opportunity to seize both the assets in transit and the collateral itself.
