The FBI has confirmed North Korea's involvement in the massive $6 billion hack targeting Binance.

Reported by 2 outlets · CoinDesk · cryptoslate.com

In its official notice, the agency detailed hundreds of specific addresses linked to the illicit activity.

However, Chainalysis reported that the Binance attackers have already moved funds through "thousands addresses."

This digital trail is expected to expand further, according to the firm's analysis.

Consequently, the FBI is now urging the decentralized finance (DeFi) community to take action.

Specifically, the agency is asking members of the DeFi sector to block certain BTC, ETH, and SOL addresses.
