An illicit acquisition of 18,270 BTC, valued at roughly $1.4 billion, has been traced by blockchain investigators to North Korea, placing the stolen amount above Tesla's current Bitcoin reserve and more than double El Salvador's holdings.

This significant haul of 18,270 BTC is notably close to SpaceX's publicly reported Bitcoin reserves, differing by only 442 coins.
