Strategy shareholders gave approval for an amendment allowing its four preferred stocks to accrue dividends every calendar day, with 99.3% of the votes cast in favor, according to preliminary results.
Michael Saylor, chairman of the Bitcoin treasury company, announced on Wednesday that the plan covers STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD preferred stocks.
Under this new structure, every calendar day will serve as a record date, though payment will occur on the subsequent business day.
STRC will initiate the daily payouts first, with its initial daily record date set for November 1, and payment scheduled for November 2.
STRF, STRK, and STRD will join the daily dividend schedule later, with their first record date falling on January 1 and payment on January 4.
The company noted that dividends recorded on weekends or holidays will be consolidated and paid out on the next available business day.
Strategy proposed this modification last month, stating it would help lessen volatility within its preferred shares.
